About ADAM
History & Mission
ADAM is a social enterprise established by The Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong (ADAHK). This artist agency aims to create job opportunities and increase income for artists with disabilities in Hong Kong. Shouldering the mission to promote creativity and social inclusion, ADAM aims to take an active approach with the corporate sector to create business initiatives by synergizing the talents of artists with disabilities in both visual and performing arts to contribute to society.
The Name
'ADAM' is the first man created – the first of its kind and the original art piece of the Creator. ADAM comprises the abbreviation of Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong, ADA. ‘M’ signifies the existence of countless possibilities for ADA and its artists. It reinforces ADAM‘s core belief: ‘Art is in every Moment, in every Matter.’

Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong (ADAHK) has been established as a non-profit and charitable organisation since 1986. The Association is a member of the Access/VSA International Network 2024 and The Hong Kong Council of Social Service. With the vision of ‘Arts are for Everyone,’ ADAHK believes that everyone has the potential and talent for creativity and a right to enjoy to the fullest beauty and vitality of the arts. We are dedicated to providing holistic services to support the development of the arts amongst people with disabilities. We promote equal opportunities for people with disabilities to have access to and excel in the arts, and advocate for an inclusive society through the arts.
